    I recently saw this for the first time. I could not believe the special effects for the monster were made in the 1950s. Very impressive. Also love the Krell architecture.

  2. Leslie Nielsen back when he was a romantic leading man/man of action and it wasn’t intentionally meant for comedy.

    Awesome movie. I seem to recall rumors of a remake in the works two or three years ago. That could be interesting.

    ……..I just hope they don’t muck it up.
