this law is so pointless and cruel, and it’s going to hurt more than people who live in the state. what happens if a trans person who lives out of state drives through Kansas? or if you have an unexpected layover at the Kansas City airport?
good on Alison for speaking up, and solidarity to everybody impacted. this is all so stupid and you don’t deserve to be targeted by the government like this.

This law is purposefully harmful and makes zero sense other than misinformed, bigoted cruelty. There is literally no reason for this law not to have a grace period other than these low iq, dimwit Republican lawmakers wanting to harm trans people. I’m sorry y’all. Really fucking sorry you have to put up with these viscious attacks by these Neanderthals who spend too much time terrorizing law abiding citizens minding their damn business and not the pedophile orange creep we have in the White House.
