Hollywood Reporter says the Iron Sky producers are developing a new trilogy called Deep Red, described as an alternate history space satire about communists on Mars.
That is such a wild pitch that I have to ask.
Would you watch this, and what tone should it be, full comedy like Starship Troopers style satire, or more straight sci fi with jokes?

Death of Stalin in SPAAAACE
Cool
I loved the first Iron Sky but hated the second one and I think i turned it off after about 15 minutes.
I like the sound of Communists on Mars though so i’ll probably go in to it with a bit of trepidation.
What are communists going to do on Mars? Establish collective ownership of endless red dirt and rocks?
Last time I saw, it wasn’t communist the ones trying to go to mars
They should make one about fascists on Earth and just show news clips from the US.
I’ll wait for Libertarians from Uranus.
What about Gangstas in Space?
I want to like these movies but they never quite hit for me. Feels like they want to be the same kind of weird and goofy as Danger Five or Kung Fury but the humor doesn’t quite hit and it’s just not as clever as those other two.
In the movie, Iron Sky: The Coming Race, have in the last scene a preview of this.
did you know that there’s no money in communism?
think about that the next time you hear someone talking about it
Oh heck yeah. I’m looking forward to Star City for the same reason.
They should get Slavoj Zizek to consult
