The fact we got 1st reactions this early is a very good sign.

I started the book last night and it had me giggling on the first couple of pages. Looking forward to reading it and eventually seeing this.

Saw the second trailer at a showing of Marty Supreme and was annoyed at how much it spoiled. I really wish I could unsee it. The first trailer was perfect in what it showed (and didn’t show).

Honestly, why have a review embargo at this point? Just let ’em publish.

I hope it is really really good for two reasons: 1. The book was amazing 2. Starring literally me

I understand why they had to show Rocky but I really wish people could experience this movie the way readers experienced the books. I was blown away when Rocky entered the picture.
Please be great and please don’t change the ending!

I didn’t LOVE the book but it was still a solid story. One character in particular.
I’ll watch the movie just for him, but also because I know it’ll be good. The novel was so cinematic it’s as if Weir wrote it with a movie in mind.

I love Sci fi and space movies, also a fan of Ryan Gosling, I love aliens and everything that comes with it. That being said, The Martian is one of my favorite movies and knowing this takes places in the same universe kills me on it. I don’t see aliens in The Martian universe so I’m a bit turned off by it. Standalone, I’m all in but I don’t know about this one.

My dad doesn’t read sci-fi but after giving him my spare copy of The Martian he when out and got this book by himself.
Really hopeful he’ll go to cinema with me to see it or just go in general since he’s been turning into a couch potato since he retired last year. Haven’t been to the cinema with him since the first Resident Evil.
