This might actually be the first casting choice I don’t love for this show.
I haven’t seen Ed Skrein in a lot of things. However, in everything I did see him in, he felt pretty generic and perfectly forgettable.
Baldur isn’t just a punchable face. There’s real drama and tragedy behind the punchable face. I’m not sure Ed Skrein can portray that convincingly. I hope he can prove me wrong, though.

I don’t really get the point of a tv show for GOW. The game is cinematic enough- more importantly I imagine it’ll be extremely difficult to recreate the tone and universe without being corny.
Last of Us did it but had the advantage of being in a grounded “real” world. I guess we’ll see.

I dunno, I like Skrein but I’m not feeling Baldur with him really. Baldur is wily and has a lot of depth, he isn’t just a guy who gets his ass kicked.
