I love how they are committed to making Evil Dead an anthology series that each film will have a different director. Its a great idea that allies for a lot of creativity.

Written and directed by Francis Galluppi (‘The Last Stop in Yuma County’):
>Charlotte Hope (The Nun), Jessica McNamee (Mortal Kombat), Zach Gilford (“Midnight Mass”), Josh Helman (Mad Max: Fury Road), Ella Newton (Dangerous Animals), Elizabeth Cullen (Diabolic), and Ella Oliphant will star in Evil Dead Wrath.
>Evil Dead creator Sam Raimi and franchise producer Rob Tapert are producing. Bruce Campbell and Lee Cronin will executive produce alongside Romel Adam and Jose Canas.
The other franchise movie ‘Evil Dead Burn’ comes out in July

I’m psyched! And I’m also loving that they’re branching out the franchise into different arcs. The Deadites don’t just pick one person at a time and there’s a lot of room for creativity using the same universe and concept.

Is Evil Dead one of the most consistent movie series re: quality? I know it’s subjective but I really don’t think there is a bad movie in the series.

Didn’t even know about this. Evil Dead Burn is one of most anticipated movies coming out this year. Hoping they can return to the 2013 vibe and lean more horror this time. I like the goofy eye balls flying into mouths but nobody could do horror/comedy like Bruce.

Wow I had no idea there was another already in the works. Looking forward to Burn!

I like the idea of the *Evil Dead* franchise being a launching pad for promising directors to just go all out with gore and special effects. Really interested in seeing both this and *Burn*.
