In Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), Max is O-negative, universal donor for red cells, not whole blood. An arm-to-arm transfusion includes plasma; O-negative plasma carries anti-A and anti-B antibodies that could cause acute hemolysis in someone like Nux or Furiosa, unless they’re also O-negative.
