Finally!
This reminds me of an urban legend of a British comedian, possibly Peter Sellers or Spike Milligan who sent out a ton of anonymous cards to his friends with the phrase ‘They know, leave now’ and several of the recipients left the country not long after.
Imjussayin.
I loved Haders show Barry. He’s hilarious, a major movie nerd and extremely talented. Reminds me a lot of Jordan Peele.
I’m intrigued by the movie summary. He’s spoken publicly about co parenting and naturally missing his kids sometimes. It’s cool that he’s making a film that’s sort of based around that odd irrational feeling you can get when you’re not with the momma anymore.
Is the mysterious man named Rasputin?
Fuck yes!!! Bill finally got his horror movie, this has been his biggest passion project and since Barry ended, he’s been working to get this made.
Dark comedy Horror sounds perfect
Barry was my jam. So I’m looking forward to seeing what he does in the feature film space. If you’ve seen his interviews, he’s like the biggest film geek too.
What happened to his Jonestown show/film? Don’t tell me he got blue-balled like Marty.
I’m not sure if this is the vibe he’ll be going for, but based on this premise and his work on Barry, I really hope he can get weird and Lynchian with this.
So Domestic Disturbance ?
Current working title: “Projection”
my dream is coming true
I can only assume this is Bill’s way of working through his kids not enjoying Vertigo and his Jimmy Stewart impressions.
Yeessssss. He did such an incredible job with Barry. I’m really excited to see him Do more directing.
I feel like between Jordan Peele and now Zach Cregger’s work we should just trust these comedians to make fucked up shit
Can’t fucking wait for this. Anyone who’s seen Barry (particularly seasons 2-4) know he’s a spectacular writer/director.
