For me, it would be Keith David. David has this natural authority to his voice, that instantly makes you want to pay attention to everything he says whether he voices Spawn, Goliath, Facilier, Dr. Tenma, Arbiter, etc, he gives it his all, no matter the role.

  1. this is really breaking my brain because apparently i grew up hearing him in so many things but the first on screen role i associate him with is requiem for a dream 😭

had no idea he was such a prolific voice actor!

  2. Mark Hamill has played a lot of comics supervillains but is probably best known for playing the Joker (other than Luke Skywalker, obviously). I think there’s a video of him doing the Joker’s iconic laugh floating around which is pretty incredible.

Keith David makes me so conflicted cause he’s a thousand years old and I primarily know him from cartoons I watched while growing up but GODDAMN his voice is sexy…

  4. Will Arnett. I think Bojack Horseman is the best acting he ever did full stop. I’m very much including his time on Arrested Development here

Mark Hamill is *the* answer. He has more voice acting credits than acting, ranging from numerous DC roles to Scooby Doo. His range is absolutely insane.

Oh and Regina King, in addition to voicing both boys in the Boondocks, she was in Planes and the Ant Bully tooo

  7. J.K. Simmons! Video games and cartoons. He’s no Tudyk (who you will often not recognize because he is a true character voice actor) but always a treat. Him and Clancy Brown are the guys who I always recognize immediately but still enjoy to bits.

Mark Hamill The range from Luke Skywalker to the Joker is insane. His Joker alone makes him elite-tier voice acting royalty.
