  1. I’m curious to see how this could possibly work. Would it be a period drama highlighting building a railroad? Would it be like Jumanji where what you build happens? Something like Polar Express?

Like I see how you could make a movie from this, but to make the type of movie I could see, I don’t think you would need the boardgame rights, maybe it’s one of those “Well we want to make a movie about X but the only reason someone will give us the money to make it is have some IP and brand recognition associated”

  3. How do you even make a plot out of this? are we literally just going to watch a family sit in silence for two hours while one guy aggressively hoards pink train cards to secure the longest route?

    The climax of the movie is just going to be the protagonist having a complete mental breakdown and flipping the table because their best friend casually blocked the one route they needed to connect los angeles to new york. peak cinema tbh.
