My uncle works at a car dealership, and has some absolutely garbage political takes, but he thinks people need to hear them anyway. Not sure why he’s any more qualified to talk about politics than a celebrity. It’s always funny to me when someone says celebrities/athletes just need to do their job and stay away from talking politics. Like, really? Where is your PoliSci degree from? Are you just moonlighting as a plumber from Sheboygan?

  2. Nah, fuck that. “Don’t listen to artists” while every publication is posting Orwell quotes or equating events to those seen in movies. Art is inherently political. If Ethan Hawke wants to stay out of the moment in order to not piss off a person that might watch his movie that’s his problem.

Edit: didn’t read the article just the headline, 100% ragebait that I feel for

he’s right. people should stay in their lane, not doing so is how we got to this pathetic state of our political discourse.

Everyone needs to talk about politics. I dont care what profession you work, or what walk of life you come from. Voice your concerns and opinions. Even if your concerns and opinions are pure dogshit. It let’s me know if your worth my respect or not.
