Just watched this for the first time a few days ago. Was such a bizarre ride filled with some of the weirdest characters I’ve ever witnessed in film. JVDB had an incredible performance that deviated far from his Dawsons Creek role.

I like the book so much that I’m a bit scared to watch the movie. Might have to check it out

The dvd commentary of the this movie was hilarious. One track was pornstars. The best one was just Carrot Top by himself. You hear him take bong rips and just trash the characters in the movie like Van Der Beek’s character. In the beginning, he’s at a party walking around drinking from a big bottle of Jack Daniels, like people normally do that

Young Ian Somerhalder having the biggest crush on Van Der Beek in this movie is something that really caught my attention first time I watched it.
