I have absolutely no knowledge of this rumor and no reason to believe one narrative or the other but I will say this: “I’m not that kind of person so I couldn’t have done this” is so often an argument offered up by people who absolutely are that kind of person

This just states she wasn’t expelled from school. It doesn’t confirm she’s never bullied anyone. It doesn’t state that she didn’t suffer disciplinary actions as a result. A lot of high profile schools will give the parents the option of removing their kid instead of being expelled so they can keep a good transcript for college for eg.
Basically this is the same as a celeb saying they’ve never had Botox because it’s technically Dysport.

This is the kind of rumour that you should be like very sure of your sources before spreading it. It’s wild to me how comfortable people spreading extremely malicious and damaging rumours with like no verifiable source. It’s basically just an celebrity urban legend. There’s never been anything leading anywhere, but it sure has affected how some people speak about Apple.

I’m going to go ahead and say that denying messy rumours about yourself, especially like this, is PR 101. Especially if you’re new to the business and want to start with a clean slate.
That said… I think that just means that it’s impossible to know the truth without concrete proof. We don’t know for sure if she was a bully or not, and if she wasn’t, it must have been really hard for her to see rumours about her being spread throughout the internet. If she *was* a bully, and there’s fire to go with the smoke, I kind of think this is exactly how her PR team would tell her to handle it.
All of which is to say I have no skin in the game. But with the way people latch onto rumours to cancel nepo babies, and also paradoxically the way stan culture is emerging, it’s VERY hard to know what the truth is.
