Amanda Seyfried didn’t know she was an EP on ‘The Housemaid’: “I was like, ‘This really better be a hit.’ It was a vanity credit because I didn’t do shit to make that movie. What Margot does is intensely developing from jump. I just had a bunch of fun and left.”

I thought EPs were more of those who help finance a movie while producers were more involved in the actual process (casting, filming, promoting, etc)?

I love her, she’s really charming and funny.
Also, it really doesn’t matter but it irritates me that the redditors in certain box office subs here like to claim SS is the reason why this film did well. The book is extremely popular. + Amanda was so much better anyways.

I love how honest she is

She was great in that movie.

She carried that movie and deserves the vanity credit considering her longevity in the industry, at least she’s honest about it
