If you know you could’ve done that, and you did nothing to add new legislation or measures that would prevent future presidents from doing that, that’s a failure on Obama’s and Biden’s part. Biden especially should’ve thrown down the hammer on trump when he got elected. Problem with the dems is they think everyone will play by their rules
Can’t even imagine how it would have gone had he done **any** of the illegal/immoral things that Trump has done, they nearly had coronaries over him wearing a tan suit and liking French mustard!
Interesting. Im guessing Obama still considers the extrajudicial murder of teenagers with American citizenship via drone strikes to be democratic and much more preferable. As long it’s abroad, murder and repression are cool.

He’s basically saying, yeah, I had the power to harass governors in red states, but that’s not how democracy works. If you only respect the rules when they benefit you, then you never really believed in them to begin with.
But he did bomb thousands of brown families into oblivion. Apparently that is his idea of how democracy is supposed to work.
Our democracy shouldn’t be set up based on the whims of the current president. Thankfully trump is old af, but the next trump might be a young man with no scruples who abuses power and there is nobody there to stop him.
Not sure if the system can be reformed but it desperately needs to change.
