I notice a lot more details as an adult, like the squeaky wheels of the gurney and the orderlies (same actors as the Wheelers), and the flashes in the shock room that are similar to the rumbles when the Gnome King turns people into ornaments.

What’s funny is that Return to Oz is far and away the most faithful adaptation of the source books (though not a single book in particular) and yet so many people are freaked out by it. If you’ve never read the original series, you should. They’re delightfully nuts.
