it’s honestly a crime that we haven’t had a big budget gore verbinski film in a decade. the industry moved away from visionary directors who actually care about practical effects and shifted toward the mvc assembly line. lone ranger flopping killed his momentum but the man literally gave us the best pirates movies and rango. he deserves another shot

So in my head I always immediately translate the name to “Dirty Connection”
