Not sure if this is new or I’m just now noticing it, but it’s an uncomfortable way to get press. Reminds me of the fake Liam Nissan/Pam Anderson relationship, except Margot Robbie being married makes it even weirder.

The fake PR romances to promote movies have always been off-putting, but when they have partners it’s especially gross.
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper come to mind, then the Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell was so uncomfortably bad.

these extremely lengthy performative method acting/dressing PR campaigns are just getting so annoying. i think people are just getting exhausted of them.

Yeah, the marketing on this movie is wild. Making the lead actors seem like they’re horny for each other is wierd choice. It’s frankly off putting

That’s me, I’m that fan.

If the roles were reversed and Robbie was a man I believe everyone was coming at Robbie for not respecting his wife and doing cheap prs like these.
Margot is an established actress and her star power should be enough. No need for those Sydney Sweeney type cheap tricks.
It devalues her. And about Elordi, well he has already burned it down when he accepted POC role.

I definitely have the ick. I won’t be watching this

It seems like they’re overhyping the romance instead of letting the film speak for itself, let the movie do the talking.

It just seems silly because she’s married with a child

It’s weird. She’s married and has just had a kid, but doesn’t seem to want to be “that” person; he looks perpetually uncomfortable. It’s all just weird.

Well thats because it is icky.

Is it a mutual obsession? Margot’s doing all the lifting. I get *nothing* from Elordi.

Don’t know why people are falling for it.
