  1. what is the endgoal with this? 14% of SAG make more than 26k from this industry to qualify for the union’s health insurance. only 7% of SAG makes more than 80k working as an actor.

    i understand getting more opportunities but if there’s no money, there’s no money. maybe SAG should stop collecting hundreds of dollars every year from unworking actors that feel pressured into keeping a membership for in fear of being blacklisted by the industry/union.

    Really hoping negotiations go well and they get a good deal. As an IATSE crew member the idea of another strike is absolutely terrifying
