I’m so over these snowflake conservatives. Bad Bunny is one of the biggest AMERICAN artists in the world right now, but he’s suddenly a problem because he speaks Spanish? One of the official languages of Puerto Rico? Despite the how many non-Americans who have performed at the Super Bowl? Come on.
Foreigners like Shakira, U2 or Rhianna have performed at the Super Bowl for decades, and no one seemed to care back then that a white English-singing American male wasn’t performing then.

a thing i have learned in the run up to the bad bunny half time show is how many americans have no idea that people from puerto rico are american citizens. there isn’t even ambiguity, they are straight up full american citizens. it isn’t the ignorance alone that bothers me, it’s the pride in the ignorance.

And the worst part is that we all know the show will be extremely tame. Really fun, but absolutly nothing controversial about it. Just a guy signing Latin style music, and lots of dancing. Absolutely nothing about it will give republicans a « reason » to hate it.
