I forgot it premiered so soon after DBZ ended. Now I’m reminded of the super botched US rollout the show had.
Here’s one some might not know: the first Dragonball game to ever officially release in the US was Dragonball GT: Final Bout. This was when DBZ was barely airing in syndication, even before it aired on Toonami. Also features a somewhat random cast, such as Steve Blum as Goku. As such, it got a real small print run and original copies are somewhat rare (Atari would reprint it with larger volume, redone cover art, and the Funimation cast in late 2004).
