In Goodfellas (1990), Henry Hill takes Karen on a date to the Copacobana. He goes through the back door, tips a lot of people money, and is treated very generously. At one point, Karen asks him what he does for a living.
Henry lies and says "I work in construction, a union delegate." After he says this, the drummer in the restaurant band does a drum roll as if Henry has told a joke.

In Wizard of Oz, Dorthy follows a bricked road colored yellow. As she skips along the path, she sings a song titled “Follow The Yellow Brick Road.” The road lead her to the great and powerful Oz. Then some other things happen, THEN she wakes up and we realize the entire Oz adventure was a dream.
