This shouldn’t even be political. She’s talking about her life, her dignity, and her right to compete.
You don’t have to have the conventional features of a woman. There are all kinds of women with different facial features: square jaws, thick eyebrows, long faces, etc.
What they did to this poor woman is disgusting and even after she provided proof she’s cis, they didn’t back down
Someone said this movement was to stop women not conforming to feminine white beauty standards which is why men back it so aggressively and it’s stuck with me.
What I will never get over is people genuinely believing that Algeria sent a transgender athlete to the Olympics. It’s not exactly a hotbed of LGBTQ rights
