Looks like Branagh became a regular Hollywood’s Russian.

Written and directed by Daley & Goldstein (‘Game Night’, ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’):
>When hot shot U.S. Navy pilot Lieutenant Troy ‘Assassin’ Kelly (Reynolds) is sent on a top-secret mission into Russian territory at the height of the Cold War, the operation implodes, leaving him stranded behind enemy lines. Discovered by Nikolai Ustinov (Branagh), a gruff ex-KGB agent with a penchant for American culture, Troy thinks he’s toast – but could an unlikely alliance between the two lead to Troy’s rescue, and a bond neither saw coming?
It’s out September 4

The fact Apple has been sitting on this and won’t give it more than a streaming release makes me question the quality despite enjoying Daley and Goldstein’s films and the duo of Branagh and Reynolds intriguing me.

This sounds kind of serious for a Ryan Reynolds movie. I’m intrigued.

Hopefully this turns out better than the last time Ryan Reynolds played a pilot.

I’m a simple gal. I learn about a Ryan Reynolds movie, and I don’t watch it.

Alien visiting Earth for the first time and learning about movies: “And this…Kenneth Branagh, is he a character actor, a movie star, a prestigious Shakespearean director, a campy action/mystery director? Explain his career to me.”
Me: “You know, I don’t think I can help you there.”
(I will remain optimistic about this movie purely because I loved John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein’s last two movies, despite my reservations about Ryan Reynolds)

During production, I hope Reynolds asks Daley questions but never lets him speak.
