      I cried when I saw him holding back tears, then seeing Gaga tear up made me cry more 😭 this album is generational!

      I now understand why sports fan get so excited when their team wins as if they had won themselves. I jumped on my couch and screamed when they said his name. I’m so happy I don’t know what to do with this energy. He deserves this award so much, an incredible album. This is really his year.

      This album is so important to me. It’s mindblowing that something so incredibly and unapologetically Puerto Rican has connected with the world in such a way. I’m so proud 😭😭😭

      This album is straight fire every single song. I’m sorry for non spanish speakers that will never fully comprehend how good this album is. Well deserved… here comes the most watched super bowl half time show ever.

      Well-deserved!! So happy for him and for PR!!!! The tour for Un Verano Sin Ti was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen, the story of the show really impacted me politically and I think about it all the time.

      People love undermining his success but it can’t be said enough how much he’s reshaping how Latin music is perceived in the mainstream.

      Yes acts like Shakira and Ricky Martin paved the way and without them he doesn’t have the platform but ultimately them making music in English led to them breaking into the Anglophone dominated pop culture bubble.

      This isn’t tearing those artists down btw, it’s to highlight how what Bad Bunny is doing has legit never been seen before. AOTY at THEE Grammys for a non English album sounded like a Loch Ness monster at one point.

      Un Verano Sin Ti will always be his magnum opus imo, just because of how much that album shaped probably the greatest summer of my life.

      But no doubt, DTMF is more raw, influential and “needed”, especially after his last album, a return to the roots done perfectly.

      I don’t speak Spanish so I have no idea what he said, and his music isn’t my thing, but I was SO happy that he won! I was very touched by how emotional it was for him. My team isn’t in the Superbowl but I will absolutely be watching the halftime show next week. Suck it MAGA!
