very few in the music business have her courage and honesty, may she remain like so for the rest of her career!

  2. A select few are going to run smear campaigns calling this “performative” and blah blah because it’s their parasocial impulse to protect a person they don’t know, but it’s important we all recognize how important it is to speak **together** against what’s happening. There’s no room for silence and to make this administration think we’ll stand for what they’re doing. It’s horrendous, and the Orangutan needs to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the American people *won’t have it!*

God I love her and Olivia Rodrigo for always *always* speaking up against injustices. Two extremely talented young artists who I have no doubt will have a long career ahead of them

She knew exactly what she was doing with that mic. Love it or hate it, that moment landed hard.

“No one is illegal on stolen land” sounds cool but is so nonsensical in any practical way lmao.

  6. I didn’t expect anything other than this from Billie. Love that bitch

  7. I agree that ICE should be abolished, but “no one is illegal on stolen land” isn’t a good slogan to get people on our side. Yes, the US is built on stolen land, but the slogan implies that immigration laws just shouldn’t exist, and that’s not going to convince anyone.

  8. That sound bite is getting kind of lame and kind of assumes sensibilities of native people.
