I was wondering when he was going to do this. He seems like a nice guy and also very ambitious and savvy. In terms of maximizing his career opportunities, especially as a non-white actor, it doesn’t make sense for him to be viewed as a gay actor (if he’s not!), unfortunately, since consistent mainstream success is already so challenging for Asian men in Hollywood.
EDIT: And I don’t mean this in a bad way! Being out in Hollywood can unfortunately impact the roles one is offered! And it’s no secret that being a minority also affects the roles one is offered! If he’s not actually gay, it totally makes sense that he wanted to eventually make that clearer

If I were suddenly catapulted into fame I would be absolutely at a loss and floundering. I respect the way he’s handling everything, in his own time and how he wants to. Obviously not perfect, he’s chaotic. But in general seems to have a good attitude towards everything.
They seem like a lovely couple and I think it’s awesome he’s so close to his team too.
