Had no idea his actual first name was Grady, since he was always credited as just Demond that I remember, and I got mixed up with the much older Whitman Mayo who played Grady Wilson on the show.
Loved him though. Nick at Night – All in The Family followed by Sanford and Son was my nightly watch when I was young.
