  1. Makes sense. The untold component of the second game does not need more than a season. Maybe a bigger season than the 7 episodes S2 was would be needed.

  2. >”but on decisions like that, we will defer to the showrunners. So you can ask them.”

  3. Oh that really sucks for everyone on Reddit whose favourite thing is to bitch about how bad the show has gotten. They are going to be so sad to lose this.

This show will always be a “what could have been” for me. Season 1 started off with a lot of promise, kinda started to unravel towards the end, and then season 2 was overall disappointing. Now a lengthy amount of time in between season 2 and 3 and it’s not looking like it will be a show to revisit again once it’s all said and done.

  5. Given the lack of source material (and evidently interest by Neil Druckman himself)? This is not a shocker.

Personally, I can’t wait for them to adapt the ending. If they keep it like the game, then the reaction is going to make the whole hulabaloo over the ending to Stranger Things look like a mild disagreement in comparison.

S2 was not good. Out for S3 and beyond. We’ve been inundated with entertainment over the past decade. It’s going to be a challenge to create good TV.

I swear if they make the end of the game where you play as Ellie into a season 4 I’ll lose my mind

  8. Lol, “season 3” this is season 2 pt.2

If you were going to make the game pt.2 two seasons then why didn’t you make season 1 two season too?

Season 2 was one of the worst fall offs.

Altered carbon and wayward pines level fall off.

It was a nice experiment, but nothing beats the original experience. Especially when you try to make the best even better.

  11. Well they lost any viewers outside of super fans once they made the chick declare she’s the dad of her girlfriends unborn child

as a fan of the games thank god there’s not more of this, keep maizin away from any TLOU 3 adaptation once ND makes that game

  13. They could end now and no one would really be too down about it. It’s gotten worse every episode since halfway through season 1

  14. Well it should be unless they plan on creating their own story ala Game of Thrones and we all know how that turned out.

  15. Considering they will soon run out of game stories to adapt. And it would be all non canon content. It’s a good discussion to end it.

  16. I loved season 1, it was peak TV for me. But season 2 was a massive letdown. To be fair, I haven’t played the games. Spoiler alert >!I can’t really forgive what happened to Joel, and how brutal it was. I realize this must have happened in the game too but it was so out of left field to me, and the whole show is based on their relationship. The whole thing just feels hollow and empty without Joel. I would have rather them go in a different direction than the games in that respect, but it was so depressing and awful it made the show not really fun to watch anymore. I get they were going with the “To ME, YOU are the bad guy” type thing but idk it really sucked all the wind out of it for me.!<
