I have been thinking about whether having awards season, doing interviews and going to red carpets is appropriate right now. I know they are under contract but movie stars are probably the workers with the most power in their respective industry, and a good bunch of them recognize that the world is far from a “normal state” right now.
Also, there is just a strong dissonance between the glamour and the chaos being felt in daily life in America right now.
