If I was a streamer I wouldn’t put all the episodes of a season for free but I definitely would put a couple. Give people a taste. And if they like it they may subscribe for more.

This is actually extremely cool of them to do this
edit:
It also would be fascinating in terms of comparing veiwership ratings with the original Amazon only season 1 episodes.

Cool, now I can finish the season without ads

I use the opening now when I teach my students about the threat of nuclear fallout durng the cold war. This will make it significantly easier to access. Thanks!

It’s on Amazon which is free with Prime, so it’s not a hard product to see with how common Prime is. Still it’s a older season and gets people into the product

This would be cool, if I hadn’t gone through the trouble of setting up an automated Plex content pipeline.
Cool to see companies actually giving content out, but that’s a rarity. If this does happen more often going forward, I bet fewer people will set up their own content pipeline. But they need to change gears fast.
Once you go through the trouble of setting up the content pipeline, you sure as hell don’t want to tear it all down. I know I don’t want to and never will.

I don’t think this is a bad idea.
