Just finished the pilot and honestly wasn’t expecting much but it really delivered on the comedy front. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has great timing and the whole “washed up actor gets powers” angle feels fresh for the MCU
The action sequences were pretty solid too, way better CGI than some of the recent Disney+ shows
Bit of a slow start, but well acted. Very not MCU vibes.
Do audiences love these “Hollywood life is tragically hard and we artists love it” as much as Hollywood does?
