Their characters are named Renee and Michael though, so they were definitely created with these actors in mind.
Probably means we wont see Mike Colter return as Luke Cage in any significant capacity any time soon though.

This looks fun! I am curious if this will be more campy in tone, like Elsbeth, or more serious. The actors can pull off either direction, but I’d love to see Renee lean into her campy side. The Kings like to reuse actors, so the separate universe leaves them plenty of room to feature other Good Wife universe actors. To be fair, the shared universe hasn’t stopped them from reusing actors in the past, but now they can more freely use key players. Praying they include Christine Baranski!
