I’m not surprised. I don’t think we’ll get too many original programming shows from netflix now until after the Warner Bros merger goes through.
The only announcements I’m expecting are spinoffs of Stranger Things, Cobra Kai, Virgin River, Outer Banks, Peaky Blinders, etc.
Originals like The Abandons just sadly don’t do well anymore

Man, I really liked Vince’s show. They changed format in season 2… more budget maybe, but it didn’t feel like season one, which probably killed it. We need more Atlanta-lite shows like this.

The Abandons definitely deserved to get canceled. It probably shouldn’t have been made in the first place, it was that bad. When even Gillian Anderson can’t manage a decent performance it’s time to just give up.
