  1. Fantastic news. Having to watch her chew was intolerable. Also I won’t miss her genius takes like “blueberries have no flavor.”

Wonder if they’ll get that personality vacuum who covered for her on the SU2C specials?

  3. I’ve enjoyed Prue as a counterbalance to Paul Hollywood, as she comes off less stern or over-serious (not that Paul’s shtick is humorless).

“Tell us about your beaver” will forever live in infamy.

Ah, that sucks. It makes sense, but I hate to imagine the awkwardness of the next season without her.

  5. Last few years I’ve been expecting this. She’s lovely, but I was dreading that she was going to keep this going and then not show up for an episode or two, then terrible announcement and dedication.

It better be someone else with an eclectic set of noteworthy accessories, whether they are glasses or something else!!!!

I’m surprised but I guess I shouldn’t be. She really settled in to a nice groove on the show. Not trying to out do Paul but having her own lane.

Tough shoes to fill. I, admittedly, never warmed to Prue quite as much as Mary, but she serves an important role of balancing out both Paul’s sterness and the goofiness of the presenters. She ends up with the burden of providing a lot of the show’s warmth. The show suffers a lot when they don’t get that balance right.

I liked her as a judge, she was a great replacement for Mary. And 86… Yeah, take time to enjoy yourself and spend your summers lounging in your garden, well earned.
