Pluribus, created by Vince Gilligan, has become the most-watched show in Apple TV+ history and has already been officially renewed for a second season.
The first season took a slower narrative approach and deliberately left many questions unanswered, which helped drive discussion and long-term engagement rather than quick payoff.
With no release date set yet for season two, the big question now is whether the series can expand its story without losing the tension that made its debut stand out.

Pluribus gives me ‘Lost’ vibes
Apple *should* renew it for 5 seasons and get them out at a steady pace…
In Vince we trust
I thoroughly enjoyed the first season. It’s not slow-paced to me, the show just provides a lot of depth to how a world would react and work in this wild scenario.
can they film season 2 already?
I watched every episode at least 3 times because I feel asleep with it on and had to replay it multiple times. Can’t say I enjoyed it.
I’m happy for Rhea Seehorn on the show’s successful arrival. I’m counting on it to get better in quality.
That being said, I’m surprised it already beat out Severance and Ted Lasso in viewership numbers. Lasso in particular has been Apple TV’s *default* watch for so long now. To cross that…
Not a fan of Apple and don’t own Apple Products, but Apple TV puts out nothing short of masterclasses in television. I initially subscribed back when Severance aired and just started watching their other shows and holy crap do they have nothing but bangers on their service.
