This show is weird. I loved season 1, disliked almost every other season for the first 1-2 episodes, before really enjoying it by the end.
I think the gaps make me forget how annoying some of the characters are, then by the end, their charm makes up for it.
With that said, Alfie sucks and Gabriel’s hair gets worse and worse.

I have a much higher tolerance for silly escapist movies and shows than the average person, and even I think this show needs to be put out of its misery at this point. I couldn’t even get through Season 5.

I actually enjoyed the first two seasons. It was enjoyable escapism with plenty of fun characters and while not the most compelling storytelling, it was entertaining enough to follow along. But after that they all became dislikable and the plot lines turned into ridiculous soap operas that weren’t enjoyable enough to excuse the weakness of the writing.
