  1. Gotcha_The_Spider on

That makes sense to me. As a fan of the books, shit I’ve reread and enjoyed them even as an adult, I enjoyed the first season enough to finish the season, but it didn’t get me excited for more, I have not returned for S2, and I don’t imagine I will.

  2. This show often feels like a series of set pieces with poorly written teenage drama sprinkled in. It also suffers from the trope of characters not talking to each other.

  3. I hardly saw any marketing for it. I think Disney was just assuming dropping Season 2 during the festive season would guarantee viewership, but in reality it’s probably the opposite.

A pity, cos the show’s still fun and well made.

  4. The Tv show is obviously better than the movies but I can’t help but feel that it feels way too corporate and lacking compared to the books.

Like the books had a lot of charm to them and that has failed to translate into the show even with Roirdans involvement
