  1. I’ll never understand old boomer racists who refuse to admit that they’re racist. Young racists know they’re racist.

“Rich racist has no regrets” OH WOW stop the presses for this incredible insight

  3. No, the show was good.

Can’t say the same about Chevy Chase, he’s been a piece of shit for a long time.

  4. Chevy Chase isn’t racist because some post woke sad figures say he is.

    And Community sucked, big time.

When the entire cast including the people backstage not liking you it’s a you issue and not everyone being delusional Chevy. To be in your 70s and not realizing that is pretty amazing.

  6. The episode that had Fred Willard in the Chevy role just made me wish, so bad, that Fred Willard was always in the Chevy role.

  7. Chevy Chase was always a dickhead, he just got away with it when he was hugely popular, young, and attractive.

That same sarcastic attitude and saying shitty things all the time isn’t as cute at 70+

  8. I feel a little bit bad for Chevy, not very much at all but a tiny bit bad that he keeps digging himself deeper.

Awe, that’s cute, like when I asked my dad if he’s racist and he said “I work with a black guy, how can I be racist?!”

Racist says they’re not racist… more news at 11.

Both Jonathan Banks Hickey and especially Keith Davids Elroy were infinitely funnier replacements

  11. While I am in no way defending or agreeing with Chevy on his character side, I have to say he is correct that Community simply is just not that good. I watched the first 4-5 seasons and I have to say it is just so mid- not even close to the level that many reddit comments appear to praise it as. By the end I was actively annoyed by it and stopped watching.

  12. I was too young to really know who he was when I first watched Community, figured he was just some actor and I thought his character was hilarious. Was sad to learn he’s just a real life but more racist and out of touch version of Pierce, guess that’s why he played him so well…

be fair, he was in way funnier stuff. I think it’s ok for him to have that opinion.

I did like community, but not exactly my favourite show.
