While I am in no way defending or agreeing with Chevy on his character side, I have to say he is correct that Community simply is just not that good. I watched the first 4-5 seasons and I have to say it is just so mid- not even close to the level that many reddit comments appear to praise it as. By the end I was actively annoyed by it and stopped watching.

I was too young to really know who he was when I first watched Community, figured he was just some actor and I thought his character was hilarious. Was sad to learn he’s just a real life but more racist and out of touch version of Pierce, guess that’s why he played him so well…
