On my millionth re-watch, I just realized that Henry and Sallah jump out from behind cover of the boulders and into the effective line of fire when they hear/see the tank take a shot at them. Even Indy crouches down in the same spot. Could they have known they were aiming at the car? HOW? Just more Jones boys luck I guess!
