This dictionary by Kenneth Katzner, has long been considered a gold standard for English/Russian translation. The author was an expert on Russian affairs and worked for the Pentagon and the CIA. The filmmakers paid so much attention to trivial details only a nerd would notice, but ignored the laws of physics!
